I am currently a research staff at the Max Planck Institute, Nijmegen. In fall 2020, I will join Zhejiang University, Hangzhou to start a new lab in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging Genomics. My research interests lie primarily in the area of Cognitive Neuroimaging Genomics, which integrates cognitive neuroscience, multimodal neuroimaging, and genetics, and collaborative big data approaches and machine learning techniques.
Cognitive Neuroimaging Genomics
My current research interests include:

  • Functional lateralization and structural asymmetry in the brain
  • Neurobiology and genetic architecture of cognitive functions, particularly language and spatial navigation
  • Brain networks for language and spatial navigation
  • Big data and multisite collaboration, e.g., via ENGIMA
  • Applications in related brain disorders, including Alzheimer’s Disease, Stuttering, Dyslexia, and Topographical Disorientation
